Heart Hancock (28.125% Joe Hancock) is the dam of Red Roan Raider (deceased), a front pasture stallion for breeders like Fred Gist (Wagon Wheel Ranch, TX) and then for Jason Deckert, Deckert Quarter Horses, TX. Heart is also the dam of several other high percentage Joe Hancock stallions, two of which are sired by Pig Creek Hancock (25% Joe Hancock & son of Pig Creek Roan) and stand for Hancock breeders in Texas. Fintry Cibecue Lady and her full sister Dons Little Red (TX) are two of the highest percentage Buck Hancock Quarter Horses alive today. Heart Hancock was bred to her son Red Roan Raider to produce the stallion Raider Buck Hancock (42% Buck Hancock) who has, todate, sired one foal. Another high percentage horse is the good stallion Buck N Badger, who is 31.25% Buck Hancock.** Roan Prairie, by Cibecue Roan an Arena ROM and High Point Roping Stallion, needs no introduction to those familiar with working ranch and rodeo horses. Roan Prairie was used for many years as a ranch stud and pickup horse at first class rodeos such as Cheyenne. Most of Roan Prairie's influence is found through his daughters. Daughters who have earned the highest regard for their ability to produce some the finest ranch and rodeo horses anywhere. Miss Roan Asset was a big mare, well broke, used for several years working feedlot, before she sold to Don and Irene Woitte of AB, Canada. Fintry Cibecue Lady carries and expresses both the roan and gray gene. |
